  In the studio and on stage, since the early age of fourteen, Lovett is a prodigy of his father & mother, Tubby Williams, a legendary Jazz Trumpet Player, writer, producer, who played and Jammed with the likes of Mr. Tiny Bradshaw, Sonny Stitt, Cookie Rojas and the late great the Mr. Count Basie and many others, including many years at the Apollo in (Harlem), where he met my Mother. (Sylvia), who was a professional dancer in the “Apollo Girls Dance /Troop”/June Taylor/ Rockets Type.
