Phillip Lovett producer, writer, musician, vocalist, born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 2nd.

   The Melody/Maker, of contemporary urban inspirations with its own unique brand of entertainment, Phillip Lovett, has worked with an impressive roster of musical legends.

  In the studio and on stage, since the early age of fourteen, Lovett is a prodigy of his father & mother, Tubby Williams, a legendary Jazz Trumpet Player, writer, producer, who played and Jammed with the likes of Mr. Tiny Bradshaw, Sonny Stitt, Cookie Rojas and the late great the Mr. Count Basie and many others, including many years at the Apollo in (Harlem), where he met my Mother. (Sylvia), who was a professional dancer in the “Apollo Girls Dance /Troop”/June Taylor/ Rockets Type.



Possessing an innate musical genius and the early command of his craft, Lovett launched his career as an independent writer, producer, and vocalist working on hits at Motown since his early days as an emerging talent.  Lovett’s vocal productions have set a standard in the music industry for his groundbreaking sound and style and contributed to, or in collaboration, on various projects that have sold in excess of 40 million units.  Additionally, the savvy producer has garnered the respect of his peers in the music industry.
